Residential and Commercial --Bio-hazard clean-ups!

Marketing Rep Morgan Blount here to help with your biohazard clean-up needs!

We have all seen the famous Bio-hazard symbol at one point or another –have you ever wondered what’s behind the three- ringed warning of danger? According to Florence Inferno the Bio-hazard symbol is derived from the Greek Triskele symbol and the cosmic force that doesn’t let organisms in or out.  Bio-hazards can be anything from blood-borne pathogens, methamphetamine labs decontamination, arson and vandalism, and sewage backup. Here at SERVPRO we offer fast and reliable cleanup and remediation services to residential and commercial property owners in Richmond, Berea, Mt. Vernon, and all the surrounding areas. As the only SERVPRO certified Meth remediation service in the state of Kentucky– we are here to help! SERVPRO cares about your family and your customers and we turn unsafe environments back into the places you know and love.

To bring in May in true SERVPRO fashion, SERVPRO® of Madison, Rockcastle, Garrard, & Lincoln Counties were delighted to host a CE Class with three different courses. Our agents and adjustors came from many different areas to join in on the learning fun! The classes offered included: Ethics, Biohazards, and Mitigation Awareness. The Ethics course covered a variety of subtopics like honesty and reliability. The Biohazards class was enjoyed by all; that class went in-depth on the different situations one may encounter dealing with commercial or residential property. The Mitigation Awareness course covered all the ways in which Mitigation strives to always be the true hero of the day! We look forward to more CE Classes in the future!

This year SERVPRO® of Madison, Rockcastle, Garrard & Lincoln Counties had the pleasure of attending the Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association (SAHMA) Kentucky Conference in Louisville, IT.  The SAHMA organization is comprised of owners and managers of affordable, multifamily housing in the Southeast.  With a mission to inform and educate, the conference attendees had the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics important to the housing industry.

At the vendor show our marketing team had the opportunity to speak with a few hundred Kentucky property managers about restoration services.  One of the key services discussed extensively was our biohazard cleanup.  SERVPRO® of Madison, Rockcastle, Garrard & Lincoln Counties covers a broad scope of biohazard cleanings including sewage backups, crime scene residues, suicide/death accidents, homicide cleanups, hoarding scenes, animal waste/remains, chemical spills, and meth lab cleanup.  While most of these can be unpleasant scenarios to deal with, we are here to make the cleanup easier and downtime less for our commercial and residential customers.

We can make it “Like it never even happened.”

Crime scene cleanup can be a daunting task, which is why SERVPRO® of Madison, Rockcastle, Garrard & Lincoln Counties has invested in the training, equipment, and products necessary to make any situation “Like it never even happened.” While you probably knew that our technicians need to be in full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) just like our mold cleanup and remediation, histoplasmosis cleanup, category 3 water damage work, and guano cleanup, did you ever wonder what has to happen to the debris?
